Agriboss is a family owned and operated business located in Timaru, New Zealand. Peter and Janina Kitchen started their own mobile engineering business in 1996 in Auckland, NZ. They initially focused on repairs and maintenance of predominantly earth moving and agricultural machinery. At this point it was known as K.C.L. Engineering Ltd.
When they moved to Timaru in 2006 the business very quickly became a magnet for local farmers as word of mouth spread that here was a business with a “can do” attitude that could fix virtually anything, whether it be mechanical, hydraulics, structural welding or fabrication. Several custom implements were designed and fabricated over the following years.
One of these implements was the first fodder beet harvest bucket in 2012. With the huge amount of positive feedback received from farmers who used it, further prototypes were developed, followed by testing, research and development.
In 2015 Peter and Janina decided to concentrate more on manufacturing and establishing Agriboss as a brand. They saw remarkable growth in Agriboss with this flagship product, the fodder beet harvest bucket, and established a distributorship and later formed a supplier partnership with Farmlands. They also continue to carry out repairs and maintenance work as it keeps them in touch with what farmers need out of a product. This contributes to facilitating a superior outcome in developing new implement designs.
Agriboss maintains a focus on high quality and customer satisfaction and welcomes customer feedback as they believe that this is ultimately the way to achieve the best possible product.
The future goals of Agriboss are to create more implements which are strong, reliable, high quality and innovative products, manufactured with the highest attention to detail and with quality materials. Peter and Janina stand behind Agriboss products with pride.
